An aerial session typically includes several photographs taken at various altitudes and angles from the robotic helicopter. Some special capabilities that are offered include, panoramic photos, orthogonal mapping, and repeatable construction progress photos. Flying extremely close to objects when needed is a unique capability of APS. All of the digital photos are taken in RAW format, then hand processed to JPEG format for the finest quality. The photos are provided to you on a CD & on a temporary website. The photos are of full resolution and may be printed, used for advertising, personal use, and such by the client. By taking a number of straight down photographs, and blending them APS is able to offer you highly detailed "Satellite view" type maps. Resolutions down to 1" per pixel are possible.
APS is ready to provide innovative solutions to your specific needs, whether it be infrared inspection, crop dusting, or looking down a smokestack; The helicopter is equipped with a fully autonomous, GPS guided autopilot control system which allows hovering very close to towers for precise, close inspection, with either a regular or infrared camera.
